Weekly Gems

October 15, 2016

I’d like to take a page out of the book of one of my favourite writers, Joshua Becker of Becoming Minimalist. Each weekend, I’d like to give you some insight into what I’ve been reading, doing, or trying. Topics will commonly fall into the categories about which I blog: minimalism, life, veganism, and even tech (I am the Vegan Sikh Geek after all!)

Prepare a cup or mug of your favourite warm beverage and have a read and listen. Peace and blessings

The Profound Joy of Completion by Joshua Becker - Why not begin with one of my inspirations? Becoming Minimalist is a must-follow blog for continually finding joy in owning less and making life more enjoyable.

gluten free vegan chocolate chip pumpkin banana bread by Sarah Bakes Gluten Free - My wife made this delicious banana bread this week for some friends who visited for an evening. The pumpkin taste was subtle, so you may want to put in a bit more than the 3/4 cup if you want it to be more festive. :)

Aad Guray Nameh by Snatam Kaur - My wife and I owe so much to this blessed soul. Any time my younger daughter is being fussy, I can put on this track or sing it and she immediately becomes transfixed and calms down. Spotify | iTunes | Google Play | Amazon

Samsung Canada launches return process for Galaxy Note 7 by MobileSyrup.com - Although it could have been one of the greatest smartphones ever, the Note 7 has been stopped for sale and production. If you have one, please return it.
